A tweet sent out by the National GOP this weekend is evidence that America needs to get back to school and education is suffering.
“Keeping schools closed has DEVESTATING effects on the mental health, social and economic situation, and academic achievement of America’s children,” the GOP tweeted. “The science is in – schools can safely reopen!
The science might be in, but the grammar is definitely not. The GOP spelled the word ‘devastating’ wrong and is now paying the price in the Twitterverse.
The incident isn’t quite as embarrassing as the President of the United States falling down the stairs getting into Air Force One, but embarrassing enough to be called out.
