UVALDE, TX – An illegal alien in a stolen truck used to illegally traffic illegal aliens was found and arrested in the town of Uvalde, some 45 minutes from the border with Mexico. At approximately 2:30 p.m. UCSO Deputies were dispatched to the 13000 blk. of State Hwy. 55 North for a trespassing complaint.
Upon the deputies arrival a stolen utility truck from the San Antonio area was recovered and an undocumented individual was placed in custody.The vehicle had eluded U.S. Border Patrol Agents earlier in the day. It is believed the operator of the vehicle left the road at one point and drove through fences to elude officers.Further investigation revealed the utility truck was also modified to transport more passengers.
