Brian, a contestant who won last night’s episode of Jeopardy with host Ken Jennings did so in an epic fashion. Jennings, now hosting the show after the death of Alex Trebek was the show’s all-time greatest winner with 74 straight wins.
The answer was, “Adjusted for inflation, the nightly rate this company put in its name in 1962 is now $51.”
Not knowing the answer was “Motel 6”, Brian thought he’d be snarky and give his question of “What is HR & Block?”
In 2004, Jennings missed the final Jeopardy answer. While the real answer was H&R Block, Jennings wrote down FedEx, ending his streak.
