JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – During the week of November 4, 2020, detectives assigned to the agency’s Special Enforcement Unit concluded an investigation which resulted in an arrest and a warrant being issued for another subject. After investigating allegations of narcotics activity at a Bryant Drive address, detectives obtained a warrant and conducted a motor vehicle stop with the suspect’s vehicle. After recovering CDS in the suspect’s vehicle, he was placed under arrest and detectives went to the suspect’s residence located on Bryant Drive to continue the investigation.
The investigation resulted in the recovery of over 17 pounds of marijuana, over 300 THC vape cartridges, THC wax, paraphernalia used in the packaging and sale of marijuana and a .40 caliber handgun with a defaced serial number. Also seized was cash in excess of $13,000, a 2015 Acura TLX and multiple cell phones.
Arrested:
Eduardo Bustamante-Ferrer age 24 of Jackson. He was charged with: possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute in a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and later lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
A warrant was issued for Luis Ramirez, age 25 for possession of a defaced firearm and possession of a high capacity magazine. Mr. Ramirez was a resident of the Bryant Drive residence and is also known to stay at a residence on Coventry Drive in Lakewood.
