New York, NY – Businesses across New York City are boarding up ahead of the Tuesday general election amid concerns of widespread civil disturbances in mostly Democrat-controlled cities nationwide. In New York, Manhattan businesses began boarding up on Friday and continued into the weekend. Businesses and restaurants across the city have been boarding up in anticipation of unrest, no matter who wins on Tuesday night.
