ShotSpotter Technology Helped Atlantic City Police Find Shooting Victim

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On October 27, 2020 at 3:22 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Sewell Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. Officers were directed to a nearby residence where a shooting victim was located. The man, 21, of Philadelphia, PA, was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.  Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit at 609-347-5766.
