Comedian Chris Rock slammed Democrats this week saying that while President Trump was employing travel bans to protect Americans from foreigners bringing COVID-19 into the country, Democrats were more concerned about impeaching the President, than they were about the deadly virus.
“It was totally up to Pelosi and the Democrats. Their thing was, ‘We’re going to get him impeached,’ which was never going to happen. You let the pandemic come in. Yes, we can blame Trump, but he’s really the 5-year-old,” Rock said.
Rock also criticized former President Barack Obama, saying he might have been black…and he might have been the President, but he was not a President for black America.
“Obama becoming the president, it’s progress for white people. It’s not progress for Black people,” Rock said.
Even as COVID-19 began hitting the states, Democrats were in full denial. Nancy Pelosi’s famous visit to Chinatown in February criticized the president’s travel ban from countries where the virus was already spiking.
