GULF OF MEXICO – Days ahead of Hurricane Laura, on August 20th, a passing storm system in the Gulf of Mexico spawned as many as 6 water spouts all visible by workers on off-shore drilling platforms. The videos were filmed by Frank Leday. Today, the videos were shared on social media as being part of Hurricane Laura, but they occurred six days prior and were unrelated to the hurricane.
Multiple waterspouts near an oil platform off the coast of Louisiana.
Check your hurricane preparedness for possible power outrages with batteries, flashlights, food & water, normally for 3 days but with Laura 7 days.
