PHILADELPHIA-After a video of a man being pulled from a SEPTA bus here last week went viral, the transportation authority has announced it’s changing its policy for travelers.
“While SEPTA urges riders to cover their faces, those who refuse will not be barred entry to the system,” a statement released by SEPTA said today.
The policy reverses an earlier one that required all passengers to wear a protective face mask.
Police physically drag a man off of a bus in Philadelphia for allegedly not complying with a mandate that riders must wear masks.
SEPTA has since issued a statement saying it will no longer make face coverings mandatory on public transit. https://t.co/UGpJf6zKAX pic.twitter.com/mx9fGiMnOR
