During the Coronavirus Pandemic, Be Careful What You Steal

The thieving business all across America just got kicked up a notch and has become part theft, part Russian Roulette, and that goes for Amazon porch pirate too.

Now, one nurse has put up a sign that lets the thief who stole his shoes from her front porch that he made a pretty bad decision.

Turns out the man left them out on the front porch so he didn’t bring those coronavirus infected kicks into his home after a long shift at the hospital.  Not a great way to soften the curve.

According to the CDC, it is not certain how long the virus that causes COVID-19 survives on surfaces, but it seems to behave like other coronaviruses. Studies suggest that coronaviruses (including preliminary information on the COVID-19 virus) may persist on surfaces for a few hours or up to several days.
