TRENTON-At this point, we’re all completely accustomed to U.S. Senator Cory Booker being a no-show as he chases shattered dreams of higher office, but this week, Governor Phil Murphy will begin his quest to assert himself on a higher political playing field as he travels to liberal Mecca, San Francisco, California.

Like a scene from the classic Charles Dickens novel “A Christmas Story”, Murphy’s trip is like Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey with the Ghost of Christmas future, only this time, the trip to California would be a trip to Murphy’s Ghost of New Jersey Future.

San Francisco is the capital of liberal ideals in America gone wrong.  California leads the country in the rate of homelessness, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Tent cities have sprung up in cities around the state and in cities like San Francisco, liberal policies have created a society, where defecating on the street is a common sight for residents.

In San Francisco, Murphy will be crowned as chairman of the Democratic Governor’s Association and will begin working on helping Democrat governor candidates in 11 races around the country next year.

While New Jersey slowly decays into the California of the East Coast, Murphy will now direct his attention on spreading that plague to other states in his role as DGA chairman.
