WASHINGTON, DC-Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Cortez this week was upset because Republicans think she’s an idiot. While it’s not a definitively double-fact-checked stance, we can all probably agree with them. This time around, she’s upset over an ad mocking pretty much her entire “The World is Going to End” platform. That is unless we invest $93 trillion into stopping cow farts and building trains across the oceans.
“I love everything about this GOP attack ad,” Cortez tweeted. “Republicans underestimate my intelligence bc I invite people into my home & talk about policy in plain English instead of DC jargon. They think that’s dumb, so they end up paying for ads that spread & explain our policy positions. 🤣”
