Tony Rivoli to Open New Bar & Restaurant in Toms River

by Phil Stilton

TOMS RIVER-Tony Rivoli, former owner of Rivoli’s Restaurant on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River announced today he is opening a new sports bar and grill in Toms River.  Rivoli currently owns the popular Rivoli’s Grill & Chill in Howell Township.  Rivoli said his restaurant will be in Silverton and will not be a replacement of his former Italian restaurant, but will more closely resemble his Howell Township venue.

Rivoli’s original restaurant on Fischer Boulevard is now occupied by Caneda’s White Rooster, a property own by Grunin Holdings, a Cuban themed restaurant.

Mr. Rivoli’s new venue will replace the Toms River Ale House which was most fondly known as the Silverton Hub back in the day.  Rivoli said there will be some interior work done and he will be removing the Top Golf system from the venue before he opens. He said he is hoping to have the restaurant and bar open in time for football season.
