WASHINGTON, D.C.-Everything was going smoothly on live, national television on Tuesday until Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi called the looming government shutdown over border security funding, the “Trump Shut Down”.

After a quick doubletake, President Donald J. Trump questioned Pelosi’s comment and things went south from there.

“Did you say Trump shutdown?” he asked the embattled Congresswoman.  “Oh I was going to call it the Pelosi shut down.”

After a heated discussion, Pelosi urged the President to end the public debate on live television and wanted to continue the negotiations behind closed doors.

“It’s called transparency,” Trump replied.

“Let’s debate in private,” Schumer pleaded.
