The Freehold Borough High School girls basketball team held visiting Jackson Liberty to just one point in the second half Saturday as the Colonials defeated the Lions, 37-7.
Sierra Strong scored eight points and pulled down 10 rebounds for Freehold Borough and Stephanie Giardina added seven points. Sydney Przygoda had six points and 12 rebounds and Jenna Huskey also scored six points for the Colonials.
Amber McGee scored four points, Christina Mamrega added two and Lauren Bungay scored one point for Jackson Liberty. The Lions sank only two field goals in the game.
