TOMS RIVER – John C. Bartlett Jr. and Gerry P. Little were sworn in to new three-year terms on the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders on Jan. 6.

Bartlett begins his 13th term on the board and is the longest sitting Freeholder in the state. He’s starting his 37th consecutive year on the board. “I want to thank all the people of Ocean County who have placed their trust in me,” he said. “This is a great office and I have gotten to serve with great people.”

Little starts his 13th year on the board. He was first appointed to fill a vacancy in 2003. “Our commitment is to continue to keep Ocean County great again,” Little said. “We work with proven practices and realistic goals that help our citizens.”
