SOMERS POINT, NJ – The Somers Point Police Department announced the arrest of two men following a report of suspicious activity at a night club on 939 Bay Avenue. Larry Albury Jr., 28, of Marmora, and Homy Velasquez, 39, of Pleasantville, were arrested on November 13, 2015, and face multiple charges, including burglary, theft, and conspiracy.

According to the police department, officers were called to investigate suspicious activity in the rear of the night club, which was closed at the time. Upon arrival, they discovered Albury Jr. and Velasquez in possession of a significant amount of stolen property. Police recovered $16,000 worth of alcohol and electronics from a pickup truck operated by the suspects.

“Albury Jr. was transported to the county jail on $40,000 cash bail,” reported the Somers Point Police Department in their official Facebook post. Velasquez was able to post bond and has since been released.

The incident is part of an ongoing investigation, and the police have not released further details. Both men have been charged with burglary, theft, and conspiracy for taking property from the closed night club.
