WHEN will this neglect and cruelty stop?! We hoped for a kinder and more humane 2015, but it’s not off to a very good start. Meet Brook, the latest victim of animal cruelty at the hands of some heartless people. As you will see in the two pictures on the left, this was how Brook was living, chained in the basement of a foreclosed home, living in filthy, horrific conditions. Some squatters were “taking care of” Brook but obviously, not doing a very good job. In the photo on right, this is Brook now, happy to be rescued by the good people at our AHS Newark facility.
