Traffic Stop Leads to Multiple Charges in Forked River

LACEY-On Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at 6:50 p.m., Officer Anthony Sarno conducted a traffic stop on Lakeside Drive North near Penn Avenue in Forked River for speeding. Officer Michael Verwey responded to assist. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 31-year-old Adam J. Visokay of Eton Court in Lanoka Harbor and 36-year-old Nicole M. Dimattia of Elwood Street in Forked River for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. In addition, each had a warrant for their arrest. Adam Visokay was found to have an Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Probation Violation no-bail warrant. Nicole Dimattia was found to have a warrant out of Burlington Township Municipal Court in the amount of $340. They were both transported to police headquarters and processed. Bail was set for each in the amount of $10,000 for each. Adam Visokay and Nicole M. Dimattia were both lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility. In addition, Adam Visokay was issued traffic summonses for Speeding, Suspended Driver’s License, CDS in a Motor Vehicle, Failure to Inspect, Failure to Signal, and Maintenance of Lamps.
