Expired Registration Leads Stafford Police to Marijuana Bust

STAFFORD-On Wednesday, 12/31/2014 at 8:35 PM, Patrolman Jacob Conner of the Stafford Township Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle being being operated by Zackeri Gonzalez of Permberton, NJ for an expired registration. After Patrolman Conner detected an odor of suspected marijuana emanating from the vehicle a consensual search of Zackeri’s motor vehicle was conducted and yielded a suspected partially smoked marijuana cigarette and drug paraphernalia. Zackeri was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released with a future court date.
