FOUND: Barnegat Police Searching for Woman Who Could be Endangered

UPDATE: Police now say the woman has been located and is safe. 

BARNEGAT-Police here have issued an alert for a woman they claim could be endangered.  Police have been in contact with Theresa Michaelson and feel should could be in trouble.

A release posted on their Facebook page this afternoon read:

Good afternoon everyone, we are looking for assistance locating a missing endangered female by the name of Theresa Michaelson. She was last seen by her boyfriend on 09/02/17 at approximately 1330 hours, walking on Old Cedar Bridge Road, Barnegat, NJ, towards Warren Grove Road. She is a 23 year old white female, with red hair, hazel eyes, approximately 5’1″, 210lbs, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a “Seaside Heights” logo, gray sweatpants, and black vans. This agency has been in communication with Theresa; however, she refuses to provide her location. Theresa has been entered NCIC as a missing person and this agency must continue to look for her until a Law Enforcement Officer can physically confirm that she is okay. Anyone one with information is asked to contact this agency. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
