As many of you may have already heard this upcoming winter storm has the potential of hitting us with up to a foot of snow, heavy winds and hazardous driving conditions. Everyone is encouraged to be as prepared as they can ahead of this latest storm with regards to medications, batteries, and a few days extra food and water. It is also best to ensure your cell phones are fully charged. Naturally, everyone is advised to stay home and off the roads if you can, your safety is our first concern. Staying off the roads helps expedite snow removal operations and helps keep our first responders safe while assisting and attending to emergencies throughout the town. Residents are once again reminded to remove all vehicles, garbage cans, recycling containers, basketball hoops and skate ramps from the streets and roads. These objects can be struck by plows during snow removal which possesses a danger to the snow removal operators and the residents during snow removal operations. The township is providing you with emergency numbers to call should a situation present itself for the following;
