Brick Mayor Ducey Welcomes New Restaurant at Site of Former Pilot House, Riverwatch

BRICK-Mayor John Ducey welcomed more new business into Brick Township, the one town in Ocean County that seems to be attracting the bulk of new business to the county.

Beacon 70 held its official grand opening on Thursday at the building which housed former restaurants the Pilot House and Riverwatch.

Beacon 70’s menu has a little bit of everything for anyone from classic American burgers to pizza to tacos and seafood.  Kinds entrees start at $7 with $3 sides and desserts.  The restaurant also hosts a brunch buffet for $24 per person or $12.95 per child that includes pastries, breads, soups, salads, carving stations, cheese and fruit platters and more.

They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

On Thursday, Mayor John G. Ducey, along with Council President Art Halloran, Councilman Paul Mummolo and Councilwoman Heather deJong cut the ribbon at the Grand Opening with the owners and staff.  Beacon 70 is located at 799 Route 70.

Inside the restaurant, there is a suspended 18-foot video wall and 60 high definition televisions.
