Aerial Inspections of JCP&L Power Lines Begins in Toms River

TOMS RIVER – The Haverfield Corporation will begin comprehensive visual inspections on the 230KV transmission lines in the JCP&L Region in Toms River.

The inspections will take three to four weeks, with completion expected at the end of January. The helicopter inspections will take place at slow speed along the power lines. The helicopter will often hover and/or circle for a closer inspection of lines and structures.

The helicopter being used in the inspections is black with red lettering MD500 and a registration or tail number N8330P.
