Police Searching for Man Who Made School Threats

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, CAPE MAY COUNTY-The Middle Township Police Department received information this evening about a threatening post on social media directed at Middle Township schools.  The Middle Township Major Crimes Unit along with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office are actively investigating and have charged, Raymond Bailey III, a former student of Middle Township High School and Cape May County Technical High School, age 20, from Cape May Court House with 2C: 33-3a(1)(a) False Public Alarms, Cyber Harassment, 2C:33-4.1a(1) and Terroristic Threats, 2C:12-3a.

We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Bailey.  If you have information on the whereabouts of Raymond Bailey III, please contact the Middle Township Police Department at 609-465-8700 or send us a Text TIP MTPDTIPS followed by your message, to 888777.

The Middle Township Police Department will have an increased presence at all Middle Township Schools tomorrow and will be working closely with school districts to ensure the safety of faculty and students.
