NJ Attorney General Fights EPA and Climate Change Policy

TRENTON-The New Jersey Attorney General is fighting crime head on this week, railing against the federal government and climate change.

“The Federal Government’s own report warns that climate change damages the environment, economy, and human health. So why does EPA keep trying to roll back the very rules designed to protect us from climate change? Proud to join 20 states in calling on EPA to protect, not harm, our environment,” Attorney General Gurbir Grewal’s office said on Wednesday, then brandishing an email sent to EPA Acting Administrator Andrew K. Wheeler.

The Attorney General has taken part in a letter writing campaign against the EPA along with other states, including California, Oregon, Pennsylvania, New York and cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia.

So far, no charges have been filed in the OAG’s war against the Trump Administration’s climate change policies.

Since taking office, Grewal has used the OAG’s Facebook page to push the agenda of the Democrat party and the administration of Governor Phil Murphy, politicizing an office that stuck to legal and criminal matters throughout the tenure of former Governor Chris Christie.
