Girl Friend Charged for Stealing His Dad’s Car

LACEY-On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 1:14 p.m., Officer Michael Hutman responded to the 400 block of Drew Avenue, Lanoka Harbor, for a report of a stolen vehicle.

The complainant stated that a female acquaintance of his son had taken the keys to his son’s vehicle while he was at work and left the residence with it without authorization or permission.

On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 2:14 p.m., this agency was contacted by the Pleasantville Police Department who had conducted a motor vehicle stop on the stolen vehicle and had the driver in custody.

The suspect, 19-year-old Samirah L. Wilson, North Arkansas Avenue, Atlantic City, New Jersey, was turned over to our agency.


She was transported to police headquarters, processed, served with a criminal complaint warrant for Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and was then transported to the Ocean County Jail.
