Ob-Co Donuts “In the House” in Downtown Toms River

TOMS RIVER-The Township of Toms River officially welcomes a new coffee and donut shop to Downtown this week, celebrating the opening of Bubby’s Beanery.

Bubby’s Beanery is hailed as a local coffee shop where you can expect organic and fair trade coffees from some of the most intense coffee regions in the world. A place where music and coffee blend giving you a truly unique experience.

The coffee shop has opened on July 3rd officially opened on July 3rd and has been serving its delicious drinks and pastries to downtown workers, lawyers, county workers, municipal workers and visitors all summer long.  It is sure to be a hot spot this fall with the high school lunch crowds.

One of the best things about Bubby’s is they sell Ob-Co Donuts, Toms River’s long time favorite traditional tasty treat.


“What an awesome coffee shop! Coffee and tea were delicious, as were the donuts and brownies.” wrote Doreen H., a visitor to the cafe. “So yummy. Great decor and atmosphere, and super friendly staff and owners. My kids had a great time playing outside with chalk and on the bongos!”


This week, Mayor Thomas Kelaher officially cut the ribbon at Bubby’s, located at 44 Washington Street, across the street from the Ocean County Library.
