Jackson Police Bid Farewell to Nearly 30 Year Veteran Officer

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ-Today the Jackson Police Department congratulates a member of the JPD family who is retiring after a long and esteemed career, as Police Officer Ralph Seda retires from the department today.

Officer Seda began his law enforcement career with the department in 1989 as a Class 1 Special Police Officer and then went on to become a Class 2 Special Police Officer and dispatcher. He was then hired in 1997 as a full time officer. During his career, Officer Seda served in the patrol division working all three shifts and during that time also spent many years as a DARE instructor in the township schools. He was also highly regarded as the department’s Deejay, providing the music at many department, township and PBA events.
