BRICK – Brick Mayor John Ducey has launched a social media campaign designed to promote civic pride and a greater sense of community within the township.

The Brick Proud initiative encourages residents to take an active role by sharing what they love about Brick Township on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #BrickProud. “We wanted to come up with a way for residents and business owners to show their pride in our community and came up with Brick Proud,” Ducey said.

He urges residents to post photos of Brick’s people, sports teams, places and other subjects. There are plans for promotions using the #BrickProud hashtag that will include photo and selfie contests, video contests and more. “This campaign is about Brick Township and what makes this town great. It is our hope that #BrickProud is everywhere in 2016,” Ducey said.
