TRENTON-Kim Guadagno is the Lt. Governor of New Jersey and she’s hoping she can soon be elected as the next governor of the Garden State, and today, she spoke out against those who refuse to stand for the national anthem.
“As the mother of an Air Force pilot, I believe this is a no-brainer. When that national anthem comes on,” Guadagno said. “No matter who you are or what issues you may have, you should stand and salute our flag. Our anthem should and must stay above the partisan political fray.”
Guadagno’s message came this morning after football teams across the NFL protested against the American flag and the national anthem on Sunday.
