HS ICE HOCKEY: Morris Knolls Edges Jackson Memorial 2-1 in Overtime

Goalie Jon Szynalski made 27 saves for the Morris Knolls High School hockey team Thursday as the ninth-seeded Golden Eagles defeated eighth-seeded Jackson Memorial in overtime, 2-1, in the second round of the NJSIAA Public A Tournament.

Danny Cangelosi had a goal and an assist for Morris Knolls. Alex Welch also scored, and Dylan Lynch and Kieran Regen had one assist each.

Nick Swain scored the Jaguars’ only goal with assists from Justin Mayer and Mike Termine. Matt Pousson made 21 saves for Jackson Memorial.
