During his appearance with Frank in the Rose Garden, President Trump was asked for any reaction to the London terror attacks. “It’s a terrible thing,” he said. “It keeps going and going, and we have to be very smart and we have to be very, very tough—perhaps we’re not nearly tough enough,” he said.

Pooler lost audio briefly as an airplane flew overhead.

Trump was asked if he had been briefed about the terrorist attack.

“Yes. And new risks of things happening [pooler lost audio again],” Trump said.

When asked what he meant about the Muslim ban has to be more specific, Trump said “we have to be smarter,” at that point Frank started up the lawn mower again and wranglers moved to escort pool out.

Before making comments to pool, Trump was joined by Frank’s father, Greg Giaccio, dressed in a long-sleeved blue button down shirt.

Patting Frank on the back, Trump called him the “future of our country” and said he would bring them into the Oval Office. “Maybe he’ll be president,” Trump said. Trump said Frank aspired to become a Navy Seal.

Frank’s father, who works for the government, told pool that their family lives in Falls Church and that Frank recently had a birthday and was now 11 years old. Frank is home schooled, but previously attended Thomas Jefferson Elementary School.

Frank’s full name is Frank Xavier Giaccio, and his family calls him by his initials FX, his father said.
