Car Carrier Catches Fire in South Jersey

FINDERNE, NJ—Early this morning, the Finderne Fire Department was dispatched to a tractor trailer fire on Union Avenue near Interstate 287. Chief 30, Assistant 30, Engine 301, Engine 302, and Engine 303 responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, the fire crews quickly addressed the situation, extinguishing flames on the tractor and three additional cars that were being transported on the trailer. Support was provided by Manville EMS and the Somerset County Haz-Mat Team to ensure the safety and efficiency of the response.
