Report: 6,000 on Cruise Ship Quarantined After Chinese Couple Tested for Coronavirus

Reports published by European news sources today confirm that the Costa Smeralda, flagship of the Costa cruise line has been quarantined in port at the Italian city of Civitavecchia, a stopping point for cruise passengers visiting Rome.

“An Italian cruise ship with 7,000 people on board is being held off the coast after a Chinese woman fell ill with a suspected case of coronavirus,” the daily Mail reported.
