TAMPA BAY-New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had all the attention on him this weekend as he started over the longtime starter Eli Manning.   With just minutes left in the 4th quarter, on 4th down, Jones saw an opportunity and took it…into the endzone.

The Giants were down 28-10 at halftime and the Jones experiment looked like it was going to be a bust and Eli Manning fans would reign supreme as the Monday morning “told ya so” crowd.

Then Jones, who passed for 328 yards in the game kicked on.

First,  Jones passed to Evan Engram to the left for 75-yard touchdown with a two-point attempt converted, Daniel Jones pass to Sterling Shepard.  Then Jones passed to Shepard again, to the right for 7 yard touchdown.

Tampa Bay kicker Matt Gay put some insurance points up for the Buccaneers with a 23-yard field goal, giving the Bucs a 35-21 lead with just minutes left in the game.

With just 1:16 left on the clock, on 4th down, Jones looking for open receivers in the end zone, Jones saw a hope up the middle left by the Bucs that was big enough to sail a cruise ship through and he took it, easily making a straight line dash for the endzone.

The Giants are now 1-2 on the season.
