LUCAS COUNTY, OH-A traffic stop in Ohio yesterday led to the arrest of an illegal alien from the sanctuary of state of New Jersey. Ohio State Trooper Mitch Ross pulled over a vehicle for a routine traffic stop when he noticed a young girl with a man. Neither of them spoke English or had identification.
Luckily for the girl, Ohio is not a sanctuary state and the officer was able to determine the driver was an illegal alien. Ross was also able to determine that the child was in his police database as a missing person from New Jersey.
Police learned the girl was a sex slave and charged Juan Carlos Morales-Pedraza with the abduction and sexual assault of the young teenager. Morales was pulled over after he failed to obey the “Move Over” law.
“During the stop, OSHP says the officer noticed a young female riding with an older male,” Ohio State Highway Patrol said. “Police say it was also confirmed that the man had forced the girl to perform acts on him and that the girl was being taken to Chicago from New Jersey.”
Police in Ohio confirmed Morales was living in the U.S. illegally and was previously deported.
