Murphy Sacks Coronato, Names Criminal Defender as Prosecutor for Ocean County

Phil Stilton

TRENTON-As reported by Shore News Network several weeks ago, it is now official, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato has been replaced.

Coronato was forced by the Murphy administration to submit his resignation, which is effective on October 8th.

Murphy nominated Democrat criminal defense attorney Bradley Billhimer to replace Coronato.   Billhimer is expected to easily pass the Senate Judiciary Committee’s review.
