Politics in Play Again? Toms River School to Hold Private Meeting Tonight

TOMS RIVER-The members of the Toms River Regional Schools Board of Education have announced they will be hosting a private executive session meeting tonight to discuss issues related to the Code of Ethics for School Board Members.

The agenda published by the district does not state exactly what the meeting is in regards to, but on May 14th, it was learned that the board attorney, Stephan Leone met at his Toms River offices with Toms River School Board member Christopher Raimann to discuss ethics charges prepared against Raimann.

According to sources close to the matter, Raimann’s ethics charges stem from complaints against him by board members from the Democrat side of the political aisle.  Raimann is a Republican.

The public is invited to attend the meeting.

Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Administrative Offices, 1144 Hooper Avenue, Conference Room A, Toms River, NJ to discuss Board members  regarding governance pursuant to 18A:12-24-1.  An Executive Session will begin at 6:00 p.m.  Action will be taken.  Subject to change.

The full agenda will be published on the district’s website @ trschools.com. Executive session and regular agendas subject to change.

3. Executive Session Resolution 6:00 p.m. – To include Board members
