MAYS LANDING- An Absecon man has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
On the morning of Friday, April 6, 2018, members of the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force arrested Carlos
Santiago, 27, of Absecon after a 7 month long investigation.
Santiago was charged with two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Santiago possessed over 1,000 images of child pornography on various digital media devices. Santiago also distributed several of the images and videos of child pornography using his KIK account.
Santiago is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility and the State is moving to detain him. Senior Assistant Prosecutor Danielle Buckley of the ACPO Special Victim’s Unit represents the state.
