Brick Township Seeks Resident Input on Floodplain Management Plan

Shore News Network

BRICK – Brick residents are invited to comment on a new floodplain management plan designed to help reduce flooding in the community.

The plan is the result of a committee-driven process that included public input through public meeting and online surveys. The plan also supports the township’s participation in the National Flood Insurance Program’s Community System Program (NFIP), which may result in lower flood insurance premiums for NFIP insured structures in Brick.

Residents are invited to review the plan and comment on the survey link provided. The plan can be viewed at http://www.bricktownship.net/flood-plain-management/flood-plain-management-plan.
