Toms River Schools Board of Education Awards

TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Regional Schools Board of Education recently recognized three individuals for their achievements.

Jesel Bhatt of High School North was recognized for being selected to speak at the annual conference of the American Association of Cancer Research in Florida. A student in the school’s Authentic Science Research class, she will present her research to the group.

Andrew Foti of High School North was recognized for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. The board also recognized Christina Hang, a 4th grade teacher at West Dover Elementary School, for performing the Heimlich maneuver on a colleague on Dec. 18 in the faculty room.
