What is is going to take for our beautiful girl India to get noticed?? She has been here for almost a year now, and this sweet little lady gets passed over time and time again.

India is almost 3 years old and is a dalmatian/pit mix that came to us from the south in February 2014. India came up with a group of dogs whose time had run out in an overcrowded shelter there and they didn’t have much hope. All of India’s friends got adopted but she is still waiting. India is mostly deaf, but you would never know it. When you go to see her in her run, she’ll tilt her head back and forth, as if trying to understand what you’re thinking. She manages just fine without her hearing and will sit nicely for a treat and offer you a pawshake if you extend a hand. Even without her hearing, India understands how to behave like a lady. She has lots of energy and just loves to run and play in our exercise yard. She would play for hours if you’d let her! India gets along fine with other dogs but she is very playful with them, so she would need a friend that matches her energy level. She will need a home with no cats but just adores people and would make a wonderful addition to any lucky family. Come in and meet our beautiful, bright-eyed girl, we know you’ll love her too!
